AK-Green Dot 225 Ultra Hi-Density® EPS insulation does not use any blowing agents. Therefore it is exempt from the January 1, 2005 United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) mandate. The mandate requires the urethane and PolyIso industries to change to a new blowing agents that would not release CFC and HCFC's into the ozone layer. It is 100% recyclable and completely recycled by AmeriKooler. AK-Green Dot 225 Ultra Hi-Density® EPS is the only insulation with a 20 Year Constant R-Value Insulation Warranty. Its R-Value does not drop and does not deteriorate like polyurethane and extruded polystyrene insulation (XPS). It will not make your refrigeration system work harder saving precious energy and therefore not contributing to further global warming.
